Early years

During the mid 1980s I worked at the New Alchemy Institute, a research institute devoted to developing technologies for daily life based on sustainable biological systems that “rhymed” with the natural environment.

I was a “struggling artist” between 1978 and the mid 1980s, working as a singer, actor, school teacher, housepainter, and carpenter.
